Dr. Osama AlShaya

MD, FRCSC, MHA, V.P and Executive Director Academic & Training Affairs

Dr. AlShaya leadership experience more than 10 years in Executive Administration, Academic and Training Affairs, and government healthcare sectors in senior executive roles, including V.P at Riyadh Second Health Cluster, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has been appointed by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties to be a Designated institutional officer of Academic and Training Affairs and acting board member of a self-finance funding company at King Fahad Medical city to build revenue at Academic and Training Affairs. Dr. AlShaya contributed to many initiatives that serve the nation in several sectors in Saudi Arabia such as building strategic plans and specialized programs for the health sector workers nationwide to build capabilities and achieve the goals of the transformation vision 2030 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is a speaker and hold academic position as Associate professor in Alfaisal university also speaking engagements include top-ranked academic institutions in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia such as Al Faisal University, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University, and Norah bint Abdulrahman University.

Dr. AlShaya is a Robotic certified Arthroplasty surgeon from different robotic models and did more than 250 robotic surgeries.


